jako všichni tady držím palce, aby s Hamasem zatočili co nejlépe a s co nejnižšími ztrátami...je třeba, když už byla operace zahájena, to dotáhnout do konce, jestli bude část západu protestovat o nějaký ten den déle nehraje roli

nemůžu v téhle souvislosti nevzpomenout na mojí tetu v Izraeli, která má čtyři dospělé syny, otce od rodin...jestli jdou všichni bojovat, tak je mi jí líto....
Izrael to potřebuje, ale těch matek, manželek a dětí, co se bude třást strachy...

For the first time since the start of Operation Cast Lead, IDF ground troops entered the Gaza Strip on Saturday evening, exchanging fire with Hamas gunmen.

The army confirmed that between 20 to 30 Hamas terrorists were killed during clashes with infantrymen.

Czech Foreign Minister Karel Schwarzenberg said in a statement that the launching of Israeli land operations was "not surprising" after indications that Israel had been considering the step. "But even the undisputable right of the state to defend itself does not allow actions which largely affect civilians," he said.

 
"We call for the facilitation of humanitarian aid to the inhabitants of the Gaza Strip, and in accordance with the position agreed by EU foreign ministers in Paris on the 30th December 2008 we call for the establishment of a ceasefire."
