The IDF representatives join a large number of friends and neighbors who have gathered nearby.

The Lebanese government has declared a national holiday today to honor the return of convicted child murderer and terrorist commander Samir Kuntar. Reports indicate that the Lebanese government will meet the returning terrorists in a Hizbullah ceremony at Beirut International Airport, along with Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

Lebanese opposition leader Walid Jumblatt and other leaders of the Druze community are reportedly waiting in Kuntar's home, in a Druze village in central Lebanon.

Hizbullah: The Bodies Are In Bad Condition

Wafiq Safa, the Hizbullah liason terrorist at Rosh HaNikra, has announced that the bodies of the fallen IDF soldiers “are not in good condition.” In an interview to Hizbullah’s television station, Safa noted that the “soldiers’ bodies were mangled in the explosions and that Israel’s checks could take one, two, even three hours.”

Following verification of the fallen soldiers’ identity, the next phase of the exchange will take place. Meanwhile, Samir Kuntar and the four Hizbullah terrorists to be transferred are currently being held in a nearby IDF base.

International Committee of the Red Cross trucks are passing northwards carrying the first batch of Hizbullah remains through the Rosh HaNikra border crossing. These are reportedly the bodies of fallen Hizbullah terrorists killed in the 2006 Lebanon War according to Israeli sources.

More than 185 bodies and sets of remains are still on the Israeli side of the border in the hands of the ICRC.
